    From the draft to the finished product Ostheimer toys pass through many hands while they are designed, sawed out, sanded, rubbed-off, painted, oiled, and shipped out: and each step in this long process of careful handcrafting is inspired by a wish to give children toys of truly high quality to play with. This way, each Ostheimer wooden figures becomes a valuable individual piece of work.

    SECONDS - does not come with original packaging. This version of the Ostheimer tractor has been discontinued.

    In Ostheimer's words: "We consciously decided to give our wooden vehicles simple fundamental forms and functions. This way children will use their imagination and their own initiative to bring the play scenes alive. A first idea of basic steering skills can be playfully experienced."

    What we appreciate about the Ostheimer tractor:

    • The area for the driver is large enough to fit the Ostheimer rider in seated position.
    • Highly sturdy. Expected to stand up to lots of play with young children.
    • The attachments to go with the tractor include a tipper trailer, hay wagon, and our favourite, the horsebox.  We appreciate about the horsebox in particular that animals can be walked right up the plank into the cab of the horsebox.

    All attachments are sold separately.
